Wow.

Hello,

It's been really really busy, so I am very sorry for not posting anything for like forever.

However, in my absence I have bought myself a Traktor Kontrol S4!!

It's so amazing!! :)

During this time I have also been producing a lot more than usual which has been awesome :P

I am back at school obviously, so I have been confronted with choices that I will have to live with for the rest of my life, and I have chosen to take Music Tech as my main subject.

I am staying at the school I am at to take A levels, and hopefully going to University studying Music Tech.

I will keep you updated a bit more than I have recently I promise, I have just been busy with school, GCSE year and all, there has been a small Mt Everest of studying to do.

I just wanted to pop in and let you guys know that I'm not ignoring you and I haven't ditched Music all together haha

I love you all, and I will do a mix and/or a song as soon as possible!! I promise!! :D

I just felt like updating as I haven't for a while :)

My DJ stuff is being really annoying and keeps shutting down on me :(
I think it's just the software, but most likely to be me being very stupid haha

I have gotten to the point where I am fed up of having kit that is consistently under performing, and I really want to have something that will actually work and allow me to DJ without a lot of hassle and blah blah blah.

I haven't properly DJ'ed in aaaaaages and I'm desperate to!! Drives me crazy!!!

However I still think that getting a new mixer will be very good for me to develop, so I will be looking on the market for a new mixer :)

If anybody has any ideas for a good mixer, that goes with Traktor 2.6 without all the hassle I have had with the RMX2 which is in the £450-£500 range, please let me know?

So, I need your help? Pretty please?

I decided to sit down again and try to work Traktor 2.6. Again.
Nope, still did not want to map with my Hercules RMX2, it was being a pain in the butt and I was getting really annoyed so I gave up (about time as well, it's been 6months)

I knew that it wasn't ''Traktor ready'' however it had been recommended and apparently mapping was supposed to be as easy as pie, which evidently is not so or I wouldn't have any of this stuff.

Now, I have always had my eye on the Traktor S4.

However my family seem to think otherwise.

I need help deciding...

Do I do:
(what I want to do)
a/ Sell the RMX2 on Ebay and buy an S4 and it be done with.

OR

(what my family want me to do)
b/ keep trying to map it (as I have been for 6months) or bii/ get new software.

I personally want the S4, I think it will solve my laptop problems and solve this hassle because I know it works really well and I have tried it before. It's so much better and opens many more windows of opportunity to improve my skills in DJ'ing.
I would also like something that feels more like something I can take care of. Having a MacBook doesn't suddenly mean that everything on it is of great performance and amazing quality. Granted, it has boosted my current equipment but, I would love to have something that I know will last a longer time and sorry Hercules, my RMX2 is starting to feel a bit flimsy after 6months.
Its great kit don't get me wrong, it will always be what started DJ'ing on, however I feel I need to move onto something more advanced - I am running out of things to explore.

My family want me to get another software, such as Serato or so, but that means more boring research and more endless trying out stuff and means that Traktor will be a waste of money. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the software in this situation.
I have also used the RMX2 to its fully capacity and cannot improve my DJ'ing to a standard of which I feel comfortable sharing with the public, unless I move onto something which will allow me to do so.

I had quite a few troubles getting my hands on an RMX2, I'm not superstitious or anything but I think if I was meant to have one and keep it for an extended period of time, it would have been much easier to get it all sorted and running.

This small monstrosity also means that I cannot DJ as much I would like to until a decision is made on what do to, however I will be DJ'ing with the other software I have (DJuced, which is also now not letting me improve) as much as I can!

Sorry I have been away for a while :(

My laptop broke on the last week of school and then school ended and we went to France and returned a few days ago, however today, to replace my laptop I have no got a MacBook Pro!!!

I will now be posting a lot on here so keep an eye out for my mixes and posts :)

Hello!!

I have always wanted to be a ''YouTuber'' since I discovered YouTube. I would always watch other YouTubers and think ''wow thats so cool, I want to do that!'' but I never really had the confidence to do it, so I never really tried to actually do something about my wishes.

Then I met this amazing person called Zoie, she is such an amazing friend and I love her to bits. She has supported me in everything so far even if she disagrees with my views and completely changed my attitude towards life. Here I am, now DJ to the Interent and reaching people who I don't know!

She has Twitter, please go and follow her, it would be so cool if we could get her big on there, I really need to thank her, but I don't have anything good enough to show how thankful I am to her. Anybody got nice ideas? Tell me via links below :)

It came up in conversation one day about how cool it would be to be a YouTuber, and Zoie being amazing as she is, thought it was an amazing idea!

I am proud to present to you my first video!! It is slightly different than other peoples first videos, however I do hope you enjoy it reguardless of how random it is! I think it gives you a chance to see how I am in real life either than somebody who types to you on a computer screen and outside of my DJ'ing.

On Wednesday it was my 15th birthday, so not only do I have a years more intelligence and experience, but I now have an amazing midi-keyboard!
This means I can now produce my own music!
Yaaaaay!
I got straight to work, and I am currently working towards a song :)
I don't know when it will be released, however I do know it will be sooner than later :D

I am happy to announce that last night I reached 500 plays :)

I am proud to say that I am producing my own music at the moment!

I would just like to say thank you to everybody who has supported me in DJ'ing.
